January 4th, 2014- first of only a few workshops in 2014! While 2013 was the busiest year of my career, I’ve been more than ready to tone down in 2014 on the travel, especially when expecting Cook Baby Girl #4!
Class went well, with 6 girls attending. I had an amazing help and support system from Jamie Salup whose studio I was granted use of, and her amazing assistant, Casey through the day. We had 4 sweet models, including 3 who were super chunky, and 2 who didn’t want to sleep, but we managedAs usual we covered post-processing at the end of the day, and got our group photo. Everyone went home with a wire egg basket as a prop, and gorgeous throw, along with a Starbucks gift card! It was fun to dig into someone else’s prop stash for once and Jamie has exactly that- more like a prop STORE. It’s crazy! LOL. Everytime I think I need to stop buying, I just think of Jamie and I feel better. Hehehe. Love you girl!
After class I immediately started dealing with airline calls, waiting on a call back for over 6 hours to try and get an earlier flight out due to impending blizzard conditions back home. I ended up catching the original flight out and made it home just in time before it got too bad to drive. I was so freaked about getting stuck in Detroit and not being able to drive home after landing! But all is wellI even cranked out these images in 2 days because we’ve been snowed in with nowhere to go and temperatures matching -40 degrees with the wind chill. CRAZYAnyways, enjoy some cute babes and thanks so much to everyone that came, and especially to Jamie and Casey for your hospitality!!
